The PUCS Student Handbook is a reference guide for parents and students about school policy and procedures. It would be good to review it to become acquainted or reacquainted with various aspects of how PUCS operates and what expectations there are for student behavior and parental involvement.

All parent drivers, overnight chaperones, volunteers must have their Report of Criminal History from the Pennsylvania State Police and Child Abuse History certification from the Department of Human Services. Online Homework Help is a wonderful and free service offered by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. You can receive expert on-line tutoring in a variety of subjects, grades 4 to 12. This service is available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM every day. It’s totally free and available for all students. If you know of anyone who could benefit, just send them to the PUCS website.
EnGrade is a free set of web-based tools for educators allowing them to manage their classes online while providing parents and students with 24/7 real-time online class information. PUCS benefits from this greatly for grades for our middle school students.
