Middle School (6th-8th Grade): $7,675 per student
Elementary School (K-5th Grade): $6,675 per student
Half-Day Kindergarten: $4,000 per student
Parent Service Hours: $240 per family
Each family will be charged an additional $240, which will be listed on invoices as a part of their total tuition charge. Parents can receive credit back to their account for the full amount of this fee by working the required 24 hours of parent service hours throughout the year (3 hours are to be completed during the Summer Work Hours and the remaining hours can be served during the school year in a variety of ways). Credits will be received three times a year at a rate of $10/hour. Please note: any parent who is willing to invest the considerable amount of time and energy required by serving on the board or as chair of one of the committees (including Parent Association Coordinators) will automatically have satisfied their requirements.
Activity Fee = $120 per student
Each student is charged an activity fee that covers class field trips and other materials throughout the school year. This fee is included in the June, July and August invoices ($40 per month).
If you have mulitple children in attendance at PUCS, you can elect to use our Multi-Child Discount (if you do not apply for or elect to use financial aid). This discount is 20% off full tuition for a 2nd child and 40% off for any subsequent children.

Pittsburgh Urban Christian School (PUCS) tuition assistance is available to qualifying families, as outlined here. Applications are considered based on need and available funding. PUCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious affiliation, color or national or ethnic origin.
Family Income Eligibility: You may apply regardless of your income level, but financial aid is given by priority of financial need. PUCS does not offer any “full scholarships,” and each family makes an investment in their child's education.
Student Eligibility: - Any student in Grades K-8. - Enrollment application or re-enrollment contract with deposit must be submitted for the upcoming school year.
Financial Aid Application Fee: A payment of $30.00 must accompany the application. You can pay by credit card if applying online or attach a check payable to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment to the paper application. If you have extreme hardship and need to apply for a waiver of this fee, please contact Allison Houck (contact info below) at the PUCS office.
